Frequently asked questions

I live abroad; how do I grant a power of attorney for Peru?

You can sign it at a Peruvian consulate or before a local notary with an apostille. If it's in another language, it is translated in Peru. We advise you on the simplest option for your case.

Does the power need to be registered?

For some acts, such as disposing of real estate, the power must be registered with Peru's Public Registries (SUNARP). We tell you from the start.
